This mini world has a Danaus Chrysippus butterfly and has dried flowers (such as lupinus polyphyllus), dried ferns and a preserved dandelion.
This mini world is 20m tall and 12cm wide.
This world is created using flowers locally sourced in Northern Sweden, gathered close to where I live and work. Each floral element is carefully preserved with a UV-protective finish to maintain its beauty over time.
The butterfly is ethically sourced from responsible butterfly farms, each piece is individually handcrafted and completely unique.
Hi, I’m Senja P. Sollén, an artist inspired by nature. As a child, I created small “Mini Worlds” by collecting flowers and insects and preserving them in jars. In 2023, I shared these pieces at a local market and was encouraged by the overwhelming response. After earning my second master’s degree in the arts, I founded Sol Studios to pursue my career as an artist.
